To all the team coaches and managers playing this weekend.
There was a unsavoury incident last Saturday at the U18-1 Grand Final with a few supporters getting out of control on that day, so it is should serve as a reminder to all our players, and supporters to be on their best behaviour this weekend.
Although we are normally one of the best behaved clubs in the association, to all Coaches and Managers playing this weekend, please remind all your players and supporters to be at their normal well behaved BTH standard.
Note From David Mason, in response to what occurred last weekend:
Further to that we would like to confirm the situation around the drinking of alcohol inside Cromer Park No. 1 on Saturday during men’s grand final day.
The MWFA understands that Grand Final day is a special day where teams like to get together and celebrate with a few drinks and watch games – in particular the Premier League Grand Final.
On Saturday an “alcohol area” will be set up at the northern end of Cromer Park behind the goal, in the same place as the Presentation Tent was previously situated. We will have tables and bench seats in the area also.
All people entering Cromer Park No.1 with an esky will be asked to go to this area and there will be security in this area.
We ask all clubs to assist us in this matter and look forward to two more days of great Grand Final action.
