Manly United player skills videos

Manly United and the MWFA have been working together to come up with a series of exercises and training drills for grassroots players to stay mentally and physical sharp during the suspension of football activities.

There is no doubt that football, particularly at grassroots level, has the opportunity to assist our broader community come out of the COVID-19 disruption and it is important to make sure that all players are ready to resume when the Government restrictions allow us to play games.

Manly United Technical Director Andrew Christiansen has worked with MWFA Community Coach Development Manager Eugene Lawrenz to come up with a series of videos you can download below.

The exercises have been filmed with Manly United first grade players Sam Gallagher and Joe Fox and are aimed at players of all ages to get them out and about in a safe manner during the disruption.

Stay safe and lets be ready when the referee blows the whistle to start resume the 2020 season.
